Vice 3: Human Hobbies
Strangely, against all my better judgment, I was looking forward to this evening. A few days had passed, and Elizabeth had made a habit of her little dream play. I still hadn't gotten a hold of a gym with a cheap plan yet, but I decided to forgo that and just start taking daily runs. Despite the fact that I lived in a small town, it was still easy to pick a sizable route, and I would be losing weight in no time.
The weekend rolled around, and here I was, waiting by my black '04 Pontiac Grand Am, paid off to the last penny through years of suffering, and the fact that Wal Mart gave no overtime
The small wooden home they lived in creaked under the force of the snow storm outside, and the tatami mats were cold to the touch. The fire in the center of their small living area did little to help battle against the biting temperature. It wasn't their first winter and it wouldn't be their last, but something troubled her far greater than the local weather. Her father whispered her name softly and smiled gently.
She felt her heart warm slightly at the little gesture. She was to turn sixteen next month, and she was worried that he would not be in time to see it.
He knelt down to her level, still with a soft smile, "Your mother is still her
Hunted: Flare's Origins
Chapter 8:
Flare closed his eyes and took a deep breath, letting his senses absorb the enviroment around him. The inner stone walls of Lady Liberty, the smell of ash, dust, and invading insects. The smell of gunpowder and brass, "Give it up Flare!" shouted William, "You are meant for much greater things than this."
"So all along you were playing us?! Fucking around with Kelly's emotions, just to get her away from me?!" Flare felt something deep in his chest. Adrenaline coursed through his veins, his soft breaths became deep and loud, his fur stood on end, and the world around him was magnified twofold.
Flare wasn't

Blood.
Kelly's desk was covered in blood. Flare's grip tightened on the M16, and he found he couldn't step into the room any further than the doorway.
Who...
Who did this...
WHO!
The door behind Flare slammed and the light in the room flickered, going out a second later. The cat knew he had walked into an ambush, but what bothered him was the fact that someone actually managed to ambush him. Flare blinked, forcing his eyes to adjust quickly, but the darkness was once again too great for him. He let out a low growl and flicked the safety on the M16 to single shot. He pulled the trigger and a round poppe

Chapter 6:
This world, this hell, is meant to be destroyed.
Kyle was running, running from his life, running from what had just happened. He could still feel the blood on his hands, and it made him sick, he had never killed anyone before. He was only fifteen years old, and yet he couldn't help but think he should have done more than he had. This thought creapt into his brain and gripped it like a vice, never willing to let go. As he ran down the public street, bloody combat knife still gripped in his left hand, tears welling up in his eyes, he truly felt helpless. He realized just how pathetic he was.
How worthless.

Been ages since I've been on this website and it's as trashy and stupid as I remember, but it's also home to some of the best damn artists I've ever seen. I think I'll stick around.
Been learning programming and getting back into my writing groove, so I should hash out some content soonish. If anyone who still follows me even comes on this website anymore or cares.
I'll use this as one of the hubs to advertise for a game I'm working on, but I'll have more on that later when I have some actual content to show for it.
Ciao.
My God the desert IS SO HOT
I work on night shift and I'm STILL dying of the heat. I wake up from sleep in the middle of the day when the air conditioning can't keep up with the sun anymore, sweating my balls off in a flapping tent. At least the bed is comfortable. Added a new chapter of Yukionna, hopefully more people start reading my stuff, so I can be more motivated to actually start cranking it out.
Thinking about going to Full Sail University when I get back to the states, since I wanna be a published writer and all that jazz.
So I'm sitting here, waiting to get deployed. Another long wait before the plane even thinks about boarding. I'm hoping I can get a lot of writing done while I'm out of the US, it's not like I'll have much else to do aside from screw around on my laptop. Can't say where I'm going, but I can say that the internet I'll be getting is shit.
No Youtube for me :'(
Oh well, I'll have fun, and I won't disappear entirely.
